Waiting on the Lord

Why do we need to learn to wait on God? First it shows that you are relying on him, not on yourself. Second, it is common for us to get ahead of God and miss His support.  Third, waiting on God show Him that we honor His timing above our own


Hosea 12:6 continually

Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Psalm 37:9 wait

Luke 24:49 tarry

Acts 2:1-4 fulfilled “one accord” they waited together with singular purpose.

Psalm 37:4 delight yourself in the Lord

Luke 18:1 don’t lose heart
