Daily Service: God Loves YOU

DAY 83

GOD LOVES YOU

God loved You so much, that He sent his Son to die in your place. You didn’t deserve it, I didn’t deserve it, nobody ever earns this salvation, but John 3:16-20 says you need to believe.  That is an action by the way, believing.  Keep reading. God has a mission for you. Yes you, while you are deep in your sin, Christ reaches out to you and says “Come”.  It requires the simple act of believing and acting on that belief.

 John 3:16-21 (KJV)
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

 Romans 5:6-8 (KJV)
For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.  But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

 1 Peter 2:23-25 (KJV)
Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:  Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
