Daily Service: Seek Understanding

Proverbs 9:6 (ESV) Leave your simple ways, and live, and walk in the way of insight.” [Proverbs 1:4,9:11, 23:4]

Throughout Proverbs and some of the Psalms the writers at God’s urging tell us to seek wisdom.  There is also a reference in the gospels about finding a pearl of great price. The implication there as well as here is that seeking God is the beginning of wisdom. So without God, no man can be truly wise.
