Daily Service: Delight yourself in the Word
Psalm 119:15-16 (ESV) I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes; I will not forget your word.
Do you find yourself dragging your feet to your Bible time in the morning? Human nature does not want to get out of a warm bed and pick up a book. The Spirit of God if it is in you will give you delight in spending time with God every day before your worldly day takes over.
Starting the day with the Lord and His Word is so very important before getting into the wilderness of the world. I started that practice right after I was saved and have continued every day since and what a blessing and help it has been to me. Now I just can’t imagine not doing this every morning, I would feel so empty I’m sure.
