Momma can I drive?

We have a new puppy as I have mentioned before. My wife’s dog of 13 years had to be put down because of cancer. Right before Christmas I took Sharon to Guam Animals in Need (GAIN)((671) 653-4246) to see a puppy I had spotted there (thinking of Steve and his rescued cat). Zoie and Sharon immediately fell in love, and now Zoie, like her predecessor Sugar, heads for the car when Sharon picks up her keys. So it wasn’t long before I caught this pose that reminded me of our daughter who sat in my lap at age 2 and asked me to teach her to drive. I told her she’d have to wait until she is sixteen, to which she responded “I’ll be sixteen tomorrow”.

Anyway I think I’ve done this plug before but I want to encourage you to visit your local shelter and see who piques your fancy.

  1. Hey, cute puppy there Bruce! And that’s the right idea, go to those animal shelters folks, lots of great dogs and cats needing a good home. Muffin says hi to your new pup, she actually likes dogs!

  2. My middle brother had 2 accidents when he was 2. Back then, they didn’t have the safety precautions of today. He figured out how to start the car and managed to get it moving both times
