Wutip is classified as a typhoon but will again downgrade after it passes the closest point of approach Saturday 23 February 2019. Guam and CNMI are under tropical storm watch. The outer edges of the storm will give us increasing wind and rain projected at possibly 10 inches over the weekend. Flooding in low lying areas is probable, Southern villages may see storm surge also. This is mostly a stay home and watch it go by kind of advisory. GovGuam agencies and schools will shut down today at 1 PM to finish preps for the storm and get the schools ready as shelters.
If you haven’t filled up on gas, stocked up on water and batteries, secured you yard and checked your shutters you might want to get on with it.
Everybody be safe out there. God Bless you all.
