Daily Service: Can we talk?

Daily Service: Can we talk?

My wife’s best friend called right after we dropped her off. She was dealing with several issues including health issues. She is a on older Palauan women; her upbringing made her self sufficient and independent so she has a hard time asking for help.

What blessed me was that she said she wanted me to look at something and give her some input. She also said she was comfortable with me because she knows I won’t belittle her or insult her.

So here’s what I took away from this:

Proverbs 27:6 (ESV) aithful are the wounds of a friend; profuse are the kisses of an enemy.

Proverbs 18:24 (KJV) A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a broher.

Proverbs 15:22-23 (ESV) Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed. To make an apt answer is a joy to a man, and a word in season, how good it is!
