Daily Service: Are you breathing? Praise the Lord!

Daily Service: Are you breathing? Praise the Lord!

We had a SingSpiration service this Wednesday night as part of our run up to conference.  Our theme this year is Grow in the Lord.  Now, if any of you know my pastor he has always left the singing up to the praise team and others saying he can’t carry a tune.  I believe our assistant pastor dared him to sing a song tonight and he did, accapella.  I don’t even remember the song but the Spirit was definitely carrying him.

Now what does that have to do with my topic?  I am suggesting that we all need to expand our worship and push past our comfort boundaries.  If you are breathing, as the Psalm says, let everything that has breath praise the Lord.  So try singing even on your own, but ask God to be in it and you will do much better.

And when you are done with that get out there, #Outreach, and tell somebody what Jesus did for you.

Psalm 150:1-6 (NKJV)
Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp!
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
