Books on my desk

I may need to do a walking tour of my home to show you all the books (and a lot did not make the last move with us). Anyway I was looking through several shelves last night and this morning looking for anything I still have on Guam History, and I found my copy of Tony Palomo’s An Island in Agony (Guam experiences during and after WWII). See my Guam History Post for that series). But I pulled an old book from Focus on the Family that I have had for years and started looking at Dennis Rainey’s One Home at a time. The first chapter is a two storyline article about Martin Luther and the other a modern young married woman contemplating suicide. I’m still reading and I want to see if the copyright allows me to do quotes, but more on that later. The point is, look at the last two posts: 131 Christians you should know featured John Fox, who wrote the original Fox’s Martyrs, and my Foxe’s Martyrs post was about….drumroll…Martin Luther.

So anyway, I want to continue to encourage you to expand your knowledge, expance your faith, deepen your walk with Christ. I believe the Holy Ghost led me to that book that has been on my bookshelf for years untouched so I could be encouraging to someone again.
