Oh I ‘ve got to tell you, last night Praise and Worship was lit! The youth on our praise team will be handling most of the Praise and worship for the Youth conference this weekend and they were trying something different. See my post yesterday for the service. We had done all the songs before but I can tell you that the Spirit was moving.
Now what does that have to do with my topic? I am suggesting that we all need to expand our worship and push past our comfort boundaries. If you are breathing, as the Psalm says, let everything that has breath praise the Lord. So, try singing even on your own, but ask God to be in it and you will do much better.
Psalm 150:1-6 (NKJV)
Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament!
Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp!
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!
Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals!
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!
