Not A Ford Mustang – via Driven

I just had to. My wife loves the 60s Mustangs so even a replica is pretty cool.

Not A Ford Mustang.

Charge Cars Mustang

This is the electrified version of the 1960 Ford Mustang except that now it does not have a Ford badge on its nose. The car was created by British start up Charge Cars and they say only 499 examples of these will be made for customers.

The company uses accurately reproduced body shells of the 1960 Mustang to produce its modern counterpart. They haven’t shown us the interior yet so let us hope for the best.

The car boasts a nearly 350 Km range after its 64 Kwh battery pack gets fully charged. The company also claims a sub 4 second 0-100 Kmph sprint time which is really quick by the standards of today.

The Charge Cars Mustang debuted at this year’s Goodwood festival of speed but the major concern is it’s supercar rivalling price, a whopping INR 2.6 Crores!!!
