Good night from #Guam

And perhaps goodbye for a time.

I find myself obsessing over the blog, putting out 10-14 posts a day and getting less than 100 views is quite disconcerting. But I found myself ignoring my wife, delaying work projects and generally acting addicted to attention I wasn’t getting and didn’t even deserve anyway. If I have not shone the light of Christ here, then it is all pointless.

Good Night

May your sleep be undisturbed as you rest in the arms of the One who made you.

Psalm 4:8 (ESV) In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.

Psalm 3:5 (ESV)  I lay down and slept; I woke again, for the LORD sustained me.

Shalom

  1. I know the feeling. It can be easy to get caught up with blogging and let other things slip away. We have to be careful about that. I have more followers now than 5 months ago, a lot more, yet I am getting less views now. Interesting. This month is quite bad. Sometimes it’s good to take a break and evaluate things. Hope you don’t quit though. Slow down on the posts perhaps.

  2. I get on average 30 – 50 views/day for the 10 posts/day I put up. It’s rare that I hit 100 views in a month.

I appreciate what you do. Take time for yourself, your family, and the Lord. I will keep you in my prayers.
