Good Morning

Isaiah 50:4 (KJV) The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.

Psalm 143:8 (ESV) Let me hear in the morning of your steadfast love, for in you I trust. Make me know the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.

Psalm 90:14 (ESV) Satisfy us in the morning with your steadfast love, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Psalm 57:7-9 (NKJV) My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast; I will sing and give praise. Awake, my glory! Awake, lute and harp! I will awaken the dawn. I will praise You, O Lord, among the peoples; I will sing to You among the nations.

Psalm 59:16 (NKJV) But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble.

      • There are advantages to where you live and your lows are a great one. I can handle high humidity without a problem and find it funny when someone here complains of high humidity. Having grown up in a place where humidity could 90+%, it’s a breeze compared to here in the summer.

Before I met frostbite too many times, I could handle low 30s in a T-shirt, but now I prefer your lows as 60s has gotten too cold for me now.

      • I would if I could. About 8 years ago, I came into some extra money, enough to move to a more temperate climate. I spent months praying and the response I got was don’t move yet. At this point, I would need to get a job that covered moving expenses to be able to move. I would love to do what my aunt and uncle did. They lived in Colorado Springs, but hated the winters there so they were snowbirds who moved to Eagle Rock during winters.

  1. Thank you for your prayers. I can relate to the arthritis issue as I have a few arthritis issues myself. Before I got frostbite back in the winter of 1983 – 1984, I could handle 30 F weather in a T-shirt. Now, 60 F tends to have me wearing a windbreaker or hoodie.

I don’t mind the 100 – 110 F Kansas summers as I grew up in south Mississippi which had a lot more humidity than here even if it only reached 90 – 95 F down there.
