Daily Service: You can make a difference

Daily Service: You can make a difference

Smile and say hello to people you meet. It makes them feel good and opens the door to further conversation

Encourage and build up people around you, especially people in service jobs that never hear a good word.

Look for the good in any situation instead of finding what’s wrong.

If you are out walking around and you see some trash blowing around the parking lot, pick it up and put it in the trash.

If you encounter a problem, look for a solution. Instead of complaining suggest a better way.

Encourage yourself. Look in the mirror and say “I can do this”.

Ask God to help you in tough situations instead of giving up.

I challenge similar minded Christians to help me support this with scripture

Ecclesiastes 9:9-10 (NKJV) Live joyfully with the wife whom you love all the days of your vain life which He has given you under the sun, all your days of vanity; for that is your portion in life, and in the labor which you perform under the sun. Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.

And a final thought, recently expressed here: You may be the only Jesus they will ever meet.
