If this guidance sounds at all familiar, it is Biblically sound. Check out these verses and consider their context. The first question I will ask you is this: Do you personally know anyone that is positive for COVID19? Do you know personally anyone who has died from this?
Isaiah 26:20 (NKJV) Come, my people, enter your chambers, and shut your doors behind you; Hide yourself, as it were, for a little moment, Until the indignation is past.
Exodus 12:21-24 (NKJV) Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel and said to them, “Pick out and take lambs for yourselves according to your families and kill the Passover lamb. And you shall take a bunch of hyssops, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning. For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when He sees the blood on the lintel and on the two doorposts, the LORD will pass over the door and not allow the destroyer to come into your houses to strike you. And you shall observe this thing as an ordinance for you and your sons forever.
The government’s response is appropriate to the threat. It is long, wearing and frustrating. But I believe we will get through this together. But let’s listen to God first okay? We will get through this, but it is up to you what you do with this time. I’m trying to build up like precious faith. How about you?
