Daily Service – There is none righteous (not even you, not even me)

I gathered these scriptures after my pastor challenged all of us to look at ourselves critically, even in the household of faith. When the Bible says all or the world, it means every single one of us, even those who think good deeds will save them. Those good deeds should be the result of serving God as He would have us, not as we would have it for ourselves. Look at today’s message from ABF Guam where we discussed Cain and Abel again. By the way I have started doing the red letters (see previous posts about this too)  Romans 3:9-12 (ESV) What then? Are we Jews any better off? No, not at all. For we have already charged Romans3v10that all, both Jews and Greeks, are under sin, as it is written: [Psalm 14:1-3, Psalm 53:1-3]“None is righteous, no, not one; no one understands; no one seeks for God. All have turned aside; together they have become worthless; no one does good, not even one.” Romans 3:21-24 (ESV) But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction:  for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, John 3:16-19 (ESV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil. David Crowder
