Daily Service: No God? Know God!

Updated from previous editions  Psalm 14:1 (ESV) The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good. psalm14v1 Psalm 53:1 (ESV) The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, doing abominable iniquity; there is none who does good. Okay, David says this at least twice (I’m checking for more and I am open to other scriptures), so it looks important right?  But if you are a Christian this passage is a nonstarter because you had to believe in God in order to follow Christ correct? Why then do I bring this up if I figure most of my readers are believers? Let me look in a mirror and talk to myself first. I recently blasted a couple of people on Facebook with these scriptures, and the problem here is that the post was done by an atheist.  So, am I a clanging symbol, a rude noise, or just static that he ignores? What can I do to shine God’s light in the darkness of an unbeliever’s heart?  Well first, shouldn’t I express love for this person based on John 3:16? John 3:16-18 (ESV) “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. Romans 10:14-17 (ESV) How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed what he has heard from us?” So, faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ. Show them Jesus. Live your life in the light of God’s Grace in a way that the unbeliever cannot deny or ignore. Here is Peter’s advice to women with unbelieving husbands: 1 Peter 3:1-2 (ESV) Likewise, wives, be subject to your own husbands, so that even if some do not obey the word, they may be won without a word by the conduct of their wives, when they see your respectful and pure conduct. I’m sure you can see the example even if you aren’t a believing spouse living with an unbelieving spouse. #Outreach: That the world may know
