DAILY SERVICE: BE A GOOD WITNESS

Updated for Volume 8

I recently read a book from Pentecostal Publishing house called “On Being Pentecostal”. The last chapter is testimonies by people that God has turned around. Your best testimony, your true good witness, is your story.  You do not need a degree in Divinity to tell someone what Christ has done for you.

Ephesians 4:29 (NKJV) Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

I borrowed these verses from our recent memory verse in church:

Philippians 4:8-9 (ESV) Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things. What you have learned and received and heard and seen in me—practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Here is an extra thought for you:  You are a living testimony.  If you have been changed by the Master’s Hand people will see a difference.  Be prepared with your testimony of what God has done for you and will do for them.
