Daily Service – Ministering to broken People

In essence, God sees us all a broken children in need of a savior. I read something in book I just finished (See my review of Thief of Corinth) about divorce.  The note says that each person involved in the divorce; husband, wife, children, extended family are torn apart and something dark slithers in and make everyone wounded.  The Bible talks about family but is ever for preservation of family, not dissolution. 

Romans 14:12-13 (NKJV) So then each of us shall give account of himself to God. Therefore, let us not judge one another anymore, but rather resolve this, not to put a stumbling block or a cause to fall in our brother’s way.

Malachi 2:10 (NKJV) Have we not all one Father? Has not one God created us? Why do we deal treacherously with one another By profaning the covenant of the fathers?

For the unbeliever/the undecided

John 3:16-21 (NKJV) For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
