Daily Service: I want to be a Bible Action Hero

Someone once said to me that I preach a works gospel.

My response is simple: love is a verb, believe is a verb, ask is a verb, knock is a verb, go is verb, stand is a verb. All through the gospels Jesus tells us to act.

Luke 9:23 KJV And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Matthew 7:7-8 KJV Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

John 9:7 KJV And said unto him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam, (which is by interpretation, Sent.) He went his way therefore, and washed, and came seeing.

I don’t read anywhere in my Bible that I can just sit and be blessed. So yes, I want to be a Bible Action Hero
