Updated for Volume 10
Before you judge another man for what you may have done yourself, remember that God loved you first, when you were in sin, when you were not worthy of redemption, He loved you and redeemed you. You can never be good enough to deserve salvation. Remember that the next time you look down your nose at someone because they are sinful. What they need from you is a dose of the love God had for you.
Titus 3:4-8 (NKJV) But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared, not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior, that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men.
1 John 4:17-19 (NKJV) Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. We love Him because He first loved us.
