Daily Bible Reading: Genesis 4-6, Matthew 2

Genesis 6:4-5 (NLT) In those days, and for some time after, giant Nephilites lived on the earth, for whenever the sons of God had intercourse with women, they gave birth to children who became the heroes and famous warriors of ancient times. The LORD observed the extent of human wickedness on the earth, and he saw that everything they thought or imagined was consistently and totally evil.

Genesis 6:17 (NLT) “Look! I am about to cover the earth with a flood that will destroy every living thing that breathes. Everything on earth will die.

Matthew 2:5-6 (NKJV) So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet: ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, Are not the least among the rulers of Judah; For out of you shall come a Ruler Who will shepherd My people Israel.’ [Micah 5:12]”
