Daily Service – Who’s the boss?

Updated for Volume 11

Who are you working for?

I saw that on a church billboard that I posted on my blog, and it was God once again getting my attention. Why am I worried about how many people view, like, or comment on my blog, Facebook page, or anything else, if, and only if I am doing service to God and not to man.

I will say it yet again: look up, not down.

Do everything that you do for the love of God, not men.

Deuteronomy 6:4-5 (NKJV) “Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one! You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength.

Colossians 3:23-24 (NKJV) And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.

Ephesians 6:5-8 (NKJV) Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ; not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men, knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.
