Daily Service – Stubborn much?

Is it just me or does it seem that a lot of people today are intractably stubborn in expressing and maintaining opposing opinions?

Do you know people that argue just to be right about “it” in their own eyes?

I remembered a quote from Serenity; the Operative to Mal: “Your sin is pride”.

Some time ago I posted about a Christian friend of mine who left a church because his pastor said that he did not sin anymore because he has accepted Christ. His sin was pride.

1 John 2:1 (NKJV) My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous.

Stiff necked, you will not learn because you are too proud to admit that you do not know.

Exodus 32:9 (ESV) And the LORD said to Moses, “I have seen this people, and behold, it is a stiff-necked people.

Deuteronomy 10:16 (KJV) Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart and be no more stiff-necked.
