Bible Reading Enhances Any Day (BREAD)

Daily Bible Reading: Deuteronomy 22-24, Mark 14:1-16

Deuteronomy 22:5 (NKJV) “A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God.

God says remember what I saved you from and be generous to those in need because of it.

Deuteronomy 24:17-22 (NKJV) “You shall not pervert justice due the stranger or the fatherless, nor take a widow’s garment as a pledge.  But you shall remember that you were a slave in Egypt, and the LORD your God redeemed you from there; therefore, I command you to do this thing. “When you reap your harvest in your field, and forget a sheaf in the field, you shall not go back to get it; it shall be for the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hands. When you beat your olive trees, you shall not go over the boughs again; it shall be for the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. When you gather the grapes of your vineyard, you shall not glean it afterward; it shall be for the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow. And you shall remember that you were a slave in the land of Egypt; therefore, I command you to do this thing.

Mark 14:3-4 (NKJV) And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head. But there were some who were indignant among themselves, and said, “Why was this fragrant oil wasted?
