Bible Reading Enhances Any Day (BREAD)

Daily Bible Reading: 1 Kings 10-11, Luke 21:20-28

1 Kings 10:9 NKJV Blessed be the Lord your God, who delighted in you, setting you on the throne of Israel! Because the Lord has loved Israel forever, therefore He made you king, to do justice and righteousness.”[1]

1 Kings 11:1-3 NKJV But King Solomon loved many foreign women, as well as the daughter of Pharaoh: women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians, and Hittites—from the nations of whom the Lord had said to the children of Israel, “You shall not intermarry with them, nor they with you. Surely they will turn away your hearts after their gods.” Solomon clung to these in love. And he had seven hundred wives, princesses, and three hundred concubines; and his wives turned away his heart. [2]

Luke 21:20-22 NKJV But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know and understand that its desolation has come near. 21 Then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, and let those who are inside [the city] get out of it, and let not those who are out in the country come into it; 22 For those are days of vengeance [of rendering full justice or satisfaction], that all things that are written may be fulfilled.
