Daily Service: Buildings burn – So what?

Why such a big deal about Notre Dame and a mosque in Jerusalem burning? Or historical black Churches in America?

When will we keep our focus upward?

Now don’t get me wrong, I think all of those could be seen as acts of hate and intolerance. I just want you to be assured in your salvation that is in Christ, not dependent on a building or organization. YOU ARE THE CHURCH! You, not a building, not an organization that has become self serving.  Does that mean you don’t need a congregation? By no means should you not fellowship.

Ephesians 2:21-22 NKJV in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

I am reminded of stories from tornado alley where a church was demolished but they gathered in the rubble to praise God for what they had, not what they had lost.

My son just sent me this link which really says it all:
