Daily Bible Reading: Proverbs 16-18, 2 Corinthians 6

 Proverbs 16:5-6 NKJV Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the Lord;

Though they join forces, none will go unpunished. In mercy and truth

Atonement is provided for iniquity; And by the fear of the Lord one departs from evil.[1]

Proverbs 17:1 NKJV Better is a dry morsel with quietness, than a house full of feasting

with strife.[2] 2 Corinthians 6:14-16 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:[3]
