Daily Bible Reading: Isaiah 32-33, Colossians 1

Isaiah 32:1-3 NKJV BEHOLD, A King will reign in righteousness, and princes will rule with justice. And each one of them shall be like a hiding place from the wind and a shelter from the storm, like streams of water in a dry place, like the shade of a great rock in a weary land [to those who turn to them]. Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed or dimmed, and the ears of those who hear will listen.[1]

Book: Colossians

Author: The apostle Paul along with Timothy (1:1)

Colossians 1:3-6 (NLT) We always pray for you, and we give thanks to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. For we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and your love for all of God’s people, which come from your confident hope of what God has reserved for you in heaven. You have had this expectation ever since you first heard the truth of the Good News. This same Good News that came to you is going out all over the world. It is bearing fruit everywhere by changing lives, just as it changed your lives from the day you first heard and understood the truth about God’s wonderful grace.
