Daily Bible Reading: 2 Chronicles 29-32

Memorial Day USA

2 Chronicles 29:1-2 (NKJV) Hezekiah became king when he was twenty-five years old, and he reigned for twenty-nine years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Abijah the daughter of Zechariah.  And he did what was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father David had done.

2 Chronicles 29:10-11 (NKJV) Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that His fierce wrath may turn away from us. My sons, do not be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand before Him, to serve Him, and that you should minister to Him and burn incense.”

2 Chronicles 30:25-27 (NKJV) The whole assembly of Judah rejoiced, also the priests and Levites, all the assembly that came from Israel, the sojourners who came from the land of Israel, and those who dwelt in Judah. So there was great joy in Jerusalem, for since the time of Solomon the son of David, king of Israel, there had been nothing like this in Jerusalem. Then the priests, the Levites, arose and blessed the people, and their voice was heard; and their prayer came up to His holy dwelling place, to heaven.
