Daily Service: The Priesthood of all Believers

For all of you who think you are just a Christian and you just go to church and fill your pew (chair, bench, etc.), I have some news for you, but it starts with a question: Do you know who you are?

1 Peter 2:9-10 (NKJV) But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.

You are the messenger to someone you know or meet along your way. You are a minister of the Gospel if you call on the name of the Lord. Yes, I mean you, not your pastor, not the person sitting next to you. YOU. You are empowered by God to be His ambassador to a fallen and dark world that desperately needs to hear what God has done for you.

Romans 8:37 (NKJV) Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
