Daily Bible Reading: Proverbs 21-24

3 Proverbs, 3 messages waiting to be taught

Proverbs 21:1-3 (NKJV) The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, Like the rivers of water; He turns it wherever He wishes. Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, But the LORD weighs the hearts. To do righteousness and justice Is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

Proverbs 22:1-3 (NKJV) A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, Loving favor rather than silver and gold. The rich and the poor have this in common, The LORD is the maker of them all. A prudent man foresees evil and hides, But the simple pass on and are punished.

Proverbs 23:30-32 (NKJV) Those who linger long at the wine, those who go in search of mixed wine. Do not look at the wine when it is red when it sparkles in the cup when it swirls around smoothly; At the last, it bites like a serpent And stings like a viper.

Proverbs 24:3-6 (NKJV) Through wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; By knowledge, the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches. A wise man is strong, yes, a man of knowledge increases strength; For by wise counsel, you will wage your own war, and in a multitude of counselors there is safety.
