Daily Service: Light the fire

Updated for Daily Service 18

I recently posted a song we love in our church: Light the Fire.
I started thinking; BibleStudytools.com is quickly becoming a go-to site for research. Of
the 13 scriptures related to fire, I like these best. Is God stirring up your fire? Are you on
fire for Him?

1 Corinthians 3:13 AMP The work of each [one] will become [plainly, openly] known (shown for what it is); for the day [of Christ] will disclose and declare it, because it will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test and critically appraise the character and worth of the work each person has done. ^[1]

Luke 3:16 John answered them all, “I baptize you with water. But one who is
more powerful than I will come, the straps of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He
will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Acts 2:3-4 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in
other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
