Daily Bible Reading: Job 35-37

Job 35:1-6 AMP ELIHU SPOKE further [to Job] and said, Do you think this is your right, or are you saying, My righteousness is more than God’s, That you ask, What advantage have you? How do I profit more than if I had sinned? I will answer you and your companions with you.  Look to the heavens and see, behold the skies which are higher than you. If you have sinned, how does that affect God? And if your transgressions are multiplied, what have you done to Him? ^[1]

Job 36:22-23 (NKJV) “Behold, God is exalted by His power; Who teaches like Him? Who has assigned Him His way, Or who has said, ‘You have done wrong’?

Job 37:1-4 AMP INDEED, [at His thundering] my heart also trembles and leaps out of its place. Hear, oh, hear the roar of His voice and the sound of rumbling that goes out of His mouth! Under the whole heaven He lets it loose, and His lightning to the ends of the earth. After it His voice roars; He thunders with the voice of His majesty, and He restrains not [His lightnings against His adversaries] when His voice is heard. ^[2]
