Daily Service: Jesus is Master

The most common title used by others of Jesus as Lord or Master. Altogether there are 8 distinct Greek words associated with the designation of Master. But the Greek word concerning us under the title above is Despotes and represents one who has absolute ownership and uncontrolled power (yes, our modern vernacular despots is a negative connotation but appropriate, nonetheless.
I wonder if we could all spend some time in prayer today examining ourselves in this regard. Is Jesus your Master?
