Book Review: A Woman named Damaris by Janette Oke

A Woman Named Damaris (Women of the West, #4)

Kindle
A Woman Named Damaris by Janette Oke
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
From seeds of adversity The author does a real good job being first historically accurate, second spiritually sound, and third a romantic heart in this wonderful story about two people from tough backgrounds finding God and finding each other. Damaris makes a journey of faith and even starts a Sunday School where no church is present. Hard working, quiet, she learns and grows her faith to be the women God needs Gil to see as his deliverance.

Damaris escapes her father’s drunken abuse, but she can’t seem to escape her profound loneliness. Does the Bible hold the answer to both that and the question of why she is A Woman Named Damaris?
