While I am against the Green New Deal on principle alone, we should all be going what we can to reduce, reuse, and recycle. Our family has our own reusable straws, cups, bottles, shopping bags, etc.

I agree with you Bruce. I always do what I can to recycle and reuse things, I think it’s a good thing to do. Some things however can go a little too far and don’t make much sense. But I think we should all help in what ways we can.
