Daily Bible Reading: 1 Chronicles 16-18, John 7:28-59

1 Chronicles 16:11 (KJV) Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

1 Chronicles 16:36 (NKJV) Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting! And all the people said, “Amen!” and praised the LORD.

1 Chronicles 18:14-17 (NKJV) So David reigned over all Israel and administered judgment and justice to all his people.  Joab the son of Zeruiah was over the army; Jehoshaphat the son of Ahilud was recorder;  Zadok the son of Ahitub and Abimelech the son of Abiathar were the priests; Shavsha was the scribe; Benaiah the son of Jehoiada was over the Cherethites and the Pelethites; and David’s sons were chief ministers at the king’s side.

Christ’s Departure to the Father

John 7:32-36 NKJV The Pharisees heard the crowd murmuring these things concerning Him, and the Pharisees and the chief priests sent officers to take Him. Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me. You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come.” Then the Jews said among themselves, “Where does He intend to go that we shall not find Him? Does He intend to go to the Dispersion among the Greeks and teach the Greeks? What is this thing that He said, ‘You will seek Me and not find Me, and where I am you cannot come’?”^[1]
