DAILY SERVICE – Politically Incorrect

I just did a separate post you may want to check out on my blog. Its called Christmas Go Fish teamed up with Christian comedian Brad Stine for an awesome video that makes you laugh, but if you have the spiritual sensitivity to understand the God point here that would be good too.  We live in a time when media, entertainment, sports, and even religion has gone so far down political correctness that they are now not speaking the truth, in love, or in any other way because they are afraid of being found offensive in the eyes of popularity.

I just want to encourage all of us to stand up for what is right, shine the light of the Gospel on a dark, despairing world.

Exodus 19:22 (KJV) And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.

Here, sanctify does not mean “consecrate” or “purify.” Remember that they were already cleaned up by this time. In this context, it means “set apart.” The priests were to separate themselves or get away.

Stephen’s speech in Acts 7:2-4 helps us to understand:

Brethren and fathers, listen: The God of glory appeared to our father Abraham when he was in Mesopotamia, before he dwelt in Haran, and said to him, “Get out of your country and from your relatives, and come to a land that I will show you.” Then he came out of the land of the Chaldeans and dwelt in Haran. And from there, when his father was dead, He moved him to this land in which you now dwell.
