Oh, what a tale we are weaving here. First, the great divide between the have and have nots is words, and words have power. Now introduce a non-magical commoner who speaks magic and watch the world turn weird overnight. Definitely worth a look at the second book. Excellent work, good world-building. Aside from the cover do I assume white humans? Maybe not
