Daily Service – In tune with God?

 Are you fully in tune?  My Assistant Pastor did this for our Men’s Fellowship.  Incidentally at the time he also led the music ministry.

He focused around present your bodies(amplified says “make a decisive dedication of your bodies[presenting all your members and faculties)  He told us that when a guitar is perfectly tuned it delivers a clear melodious note that stirs the soul, but when the guitar is out of tune you feel a disconnect as much as hearing the bad note.

 Romans 12:1-2 (KJV) I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 12:1-2 (AMP) I APPEAL to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you in view of [all] the mercies of God, to make a decisive dedication of your bodies [presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy (devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God, which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent) service and spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
