A lot to unpack here
Quite a story. I wondered what could happen when you have a fifth son named Claude. Would you secretly wish he had been a girl? What happens when he wants to wear a dress on the first day of school? I really liked how the author handled these growing up different things. The best line in the whole book: “We are all weird”.
