Our assistant pastor led with this for his Sunday School lesson:

My first love is missing

Revelation 2:3-4 (KJV) And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast labored, and hast not fainted. Nevertheless, I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

Revelation 2:3-4 NKJV and you have persevered and had patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless, I have this against you, that you have left your first love.

Revelation 2:3-4 (AMP)  I know you are enduring patiently and are bearing up for My name’s sake, and you have not fainted or become exhausted or grown weary. But I have this [one charge to make] against you: that you have left (abandoned) the love that you had at first [you have deserted Me, your first love].

Because I got too busy doing the work of God?

1 Corinthians 9:27 NKJV But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.
