We had a wonderful message recently on this theme, taken from Matthew 10:39

Matthew 10:39 (NKJV) He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.

Yes, back to my Selfish versus Selfless message.  The entire point of the lesson was that in order to live for Christ you have to die to yourself. See it here

I opened my devotions and find James 4:10 which confirms it.

James 4:10 (NKJV) Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up.
