David Meece wrote this song.

Meece explained to CCM Magazine presents 100 Greatest Songs in Christian Music that this song talks about why Jesus came to earth in the first place. Said Meece: “The most important thing in the song ‘We Are the Reason’ is how important it is to realize that He died for each and every one of us. The individual nature of Christ’s sacrifice is something we need to really focus on.”

Popularized by Avalon on a Christmas album, the song seems stuck on the Christmas playlist. 

My thought:  I want it to be Christmas every day if I get to talk about how Jesus Christ lived and died to save me and everybody that will believe.
